Annabelle's 1st Birthday Party

It was my absolute pleasure to be asked to photograph sweet Annabelle’s very 1^st birthday party after meeting her for a photo session when she was just 12 weeks old.

This beautiful little girl was celebrated with so much love and adored by all of her family and close friends.  With a twinkle in her big blue eyes, Annabelle seemed to smile the whole time even when happy birthday was sung to her for the very first time. I was greeted by Annabelle with a smile and I melted when she still had one last smile left for me when saying goodbye as she cuddled into her Mummy.

With a desert table that was simply stunning, pink and white bunny’s, soft pink tulips, floating balloons, polka dot hats for all, backyard football in the afternoon sun; it really was a beautiful party for Annabelle.

Happy birthday to you Annabelle, I hope these photos help tell the story of how special your very 1^st Birthday was and how loved and adored you are (especially by your Mummy and Daddy)

Pirates and Fairies Party

When a little girls Birthday wish is to have a Fairy party and boys be pirates, of course the Fairies made this wish come true. With Fairy dust, Fairy cakes, Fairy hunt and a Fairies tent, there was prettiness everywhere.

A Fairy and a Pony

This little fairy is turning 3.

Yo-Yo the pony has just recently joined our family, perfect timing for this photo session to be extra special.

Shaun's Headshots

Shaun asked me to take portraits of him for his acting Headshot folio. It was fun for me, taking photos of only one model this time and with Shaun being an actor I was lucky that he is use to the camera and being the centre of attention.

Jasmine and Madeleine

After the rain came a sunny summers after noon for this family’s photo session at Meander Studios. Amongst the sound of leaves blowing in the gum trees were giggles and joy from Jasmine (almost 5) and Madeleine (15 months). With Jasmine so delighted to have her photograph taken and Madeleine finding throwing the ball a hoot, it was a fun session.  

 A special time for this family to be photographed as Jasmine celebrates starting school and Madeleine explores the relatively new trick of walking.

Sister support

A special moment captured. Archie doing up the buttons on his new uniform as little sister Sunday watched then softly stroking his arm for support. I’m so pleased I could record such a sweet and innocent performance without them knowing.

School Starts

As my son started Prep today, it has made me reflect on our family and how fast these 5 years have gone. I can’t help but think of all the other families that have been through this, going to or are going through this today.

I wish you all the best of luck at school for 2013 and hope your school year is filled with happy days and plays. Thinking of you Mummy's and Daddy's and I hope I’m not the only one that is already counting down to the holidays.

Totally Smitten

Smitten is the word I would use for these new parents. Their faces glowed when they held this little man and it was impossible for them not to smile.

This photo shoot was extra special to me, being the first family to visit the studio for 2013 and because Kathy is a dear friend of mine (that I use to teach with) celebrating the birth of her first beautiful baby.

Jackson was an absolute joy to photograph and cuddle. He brought out the big guns right at the end, showing off his new smile to the camera. Thank you for visiting Meander Studios Ryan and Kathy. I wish you many happy days together and I look forward to many more play dates with your lovely Jackson.

 

  

 

Newborn settling

A rare photo was taken of me settling this beautiful new baby during a studio session. The bottom tap did the trick, so sweet.
